Lacquers with future prospects – the SÜDWEST AquaVision product family
SÜDWEST is constantly expanding its range of water-based lacquers. At the same time, demand for solutions with a reduced solvent content is on the rise. Water-based lacquers can offer a lacquer with a low VOC content that is an alternative to solvent-based systems. With the AquaVision product range, SÜDWEST offers water-based lacquers for a wide range of applications – from traditional interior applications through to demanding coating tasks.
The best of both worlds
By combining different water-based binders, such as acrylates, PU binders and water-based alkyd resins, it is possible to combine various product properties.
- Hard-wearing surfaces: The lacquers have resistance to standard surface disinfectants and are therefore also suitable for high-traffic indoor areas, such as clinics, hospitals and care homes.
- Suitable for sensitive areas: The lacquers have a low VOC content and comply with the toy safety standard. This makes them suitable for use in schools and children’s bedrooms, amongst other places.
- TÜV-certified: Selected products from the AquaVision PU coating range hold the relevant TÜV certifications.

Perfect finishes – applied efficiently
AquaVision PU-Airless lacquers enable fast and efficient application by spraying. The airless method ensures an even finish and, compared to paint brushes and rollers, allows for the application of thicker coats – resulting in high-quality, uniform finishes.
The all-round, system-based primer
The Speedprimer for a wide range of substrates – a low-odour priming coat that is particularly suitable for sensitive indoor areas.
No substrate is too smooth
On tiles, glass, ceramics and similarly smooth substrates, the two-component AquaVision 2K-All-Grund ensures a reliable adhesive bond. With a working time of up to two hours, the product is easy to apply using a paint brush or roller, whilst also providing reliable protection against corrosion.
For surfaces subject to high levels of stress
AquaVision 2K semi-matt paint is a TÜV-certified coating for heavily used surfaces that need to withstand mechanical and chemical stresses. The base component and hardener contain no free isocyanates, meaning that no additional isocyanate-related safety precautions are required. With a pot life of more than six hours, this premium paint also offers a convenient time window for application.
