    The first of his class

    Bastian Diebold has done it! He is the first machine and plant operator to be trained at SÜDWEST in the company’s almost 100-year history.

    When he received his exam results at the start of July,

    it was confirmed that Mr Diebold had successfully completed his two-year training to become a machine and plant operator at SÜDWEST. Swotting up at the vocational college, learning on the job as part of the filling plant team in SÜDWEST’s Production department and at our partner company IHK Landau – all the hard work has paid off! “We are very proud and delighted that we were able to take Mr Diebold on following his professional training,” says training manager Ranja Böcher. “This means that he can immediately put into practice everything he has learnt during his training.” Mr Diebold is also thrilled: “The training was not always easy, but I would certainly opt for a career as a machine and plant operator again given the choice.”
