SÜDWEST extends site in Böhl

SÜDWEST has been investing continuously in its Böhl-Iggelheim location since 2011. Due to the growth of its product range and volumes, it had become necessary to store items in three different locations at the plant. “With our new building, we now have a centrally located logistics hub,” reports SÜDWEST managing director Hans-Jörg von Rhade. Covering an area of 3,200 square metres, the centre will feature 4,000 pallet spaces, a canteen, plus break rooms and meeting rooms. “The central warehouse significantly improves our delivery capacity by providing more efficient processes,” explains von Rhade. Sales orders can also be processed faster, including in high volumes.
