B&B Montagen – the courage to expand
Developing an international presence
SÜDWEST has been operating successfully on an international scale for many years and the partnerships it has built up across national boundaries are constantly being developed. Today, we are putting the spotlight on partner B&B Montagen from Slovakia. Originally, the company specialised in installation and mechanical engineering work. Its partners include Mercedes, DHL parcel centres, BMW, VW, Amazon, Dambach, any many others. As installations sometimes need to be coated, B&B Montagen was already familiar with SÜDWEST, so, in 2018, the company concluded an agreement to distribute SÜDWEST products in Slovakia. A still young, but already very dynamic, international partnership took flight.
Huge market opportunities
Although Slovakia is not a large country, the potential for high-quality coating materials there is likely to be large. The country is aligning with European standards, as the demand for quality is increasing. The building stock is relatively old and refurbishments are being completed more and more often and to higher quality standards. B&B Montagen also has exceptionally good contacts in the industry, which is sure to open up an additional market for SÜDWEST products in the country.
If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing well
The owner of B&B Montagen was quickly convinced by SÜDWEST’s product range and the level of cooperation, and decided to step up its commitment:The company has taken on employees who will visit and advise dealers, markets, and applicators. Training measures were initiated at SÜDWEST soon after the contract between the companies was signed in 2018. Following this, vehicles were bought and a dedicated warehouse was purchased. All SÜDWEST products are now in stock at the site. Naturally, a SÜDWEST Aqua Mix and a SÜDWEST Classic Mix plant are also available on site.
Pressing ahead with courage
The company’s willingness to invest is high and they are resolute in their actions:
Personnel, product range, and technology have been built up in stages, and successful visits have then been paid to customers. The next step for B&B Montagen is to continue to advance its international business and supply the Czech and Hungarian markets. In parallel to this, marketing is in full swing:
The Facebook site went online at the end of 2019, followed by the online shop at Easter 2020. Next, a TV campaign was launched and a video clip was uploaded to YouTube. Naturally, classic catalogues were also printed.
The entire SÜDWEST team is looking forward to seeing how the partnership with B&B Montagen develops even further in the coming years!
